Annual Empty Bowls benefit set for Friday

LEBANON - The West Lebanon Community Ladies Circle will hold its annual Empty Bowls benefit on Nov. 7 from 5-7 p.m. at the First Parish Congregational Church on Center Road in Lebanon.

Empty Bowls allows participating artists and groups to create and donate bowls, and restaurants and members make a wide variety of soups, chowders and breads.

Guests then get to choose and keep a bowl to try all the different offerings.

Participants pay donations of $12; children 10 and under are just $5.

All proceeds go to local food pantries or soup kitchens.
