FARMINGTON - Angus "Morris" White, 93 died peacefully on April 29, 2021, with family by his side.
Angus, affectionately known as "Whitey", also went by Morris for much of his life. He served in the Marine Corps during WWII. Married to Jo-Ann Weymouth of Farmington in 1947, Angus raised his family in Farmington where he owned and operated his barber shop on main street for many years. His career was cut short due to a severe illness, but that didn't stop his passion for life. He loved spending his time with his beloved family and friends.
He moved to Florida in 1975 eventually getting remarried to Barbara and settling at his longtime home at Plymouth country club in Sorrento.
His main passion was playing golf. Winning the club championship at the Farmington Country Club where he was one of the original shareholders, being one of his early highlights. Living in Florida he spent most of his leisure time playing golf with his many friends. He also loved his longtime dog Rambo who would often ride on his golf cart with him.
He leaves behind his beloved sister, Goldie, daughters Gina and Carla, sons Scott and Mark, Grandchildren, Sonya, Cara, Alanna, Kayla, Laura, Kristy, Tyler, Craig, Ashleigh and Cooper, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Predeceased by his father Angus and mother Celina, brother Sidney, sons Alan and Craig, granddaughter Mary Rose, and great friend Dorothy Weber.
