Alton man pleads guilty to voter fraud in 2016 election

CONCORD - An Alton man has pleaded guilty in Belknap County Superior Court to voting in more than one state, the Attorney Generals Office announced on Monday.

Todd Krysiak, 39, knowingly cast a ballot in Alton in the Nov. 6, 2016, General Election, and also cast a ballot in Leominster, Mass., in the same election.

Krysiak was sentenced to 90 days at the House of Corrections, all suspended for two years on the condition of his good behavior. The court also ordered Krysiak to pay a $4,000 fine with a penalty assessment of $960.

As a consequence of Krysiak's election law conviction and pursuant to Part I, Article 11 of the New Hampshire Constitution, his right to vote in New Hampshire is terminated.

This case was prosecuted by Deputy General Counsel Myles Matteson, Attorney Matthew Conley, and Chief Investigator Richard Tracy of the Election Law Unit.
