LEBANON, Maine - Allan B. Dame, 64 of Lower Middle Road in Lebanon died on Thanksgiving day at his home following a battle against pancreatic cancer.

Born in York Maine on April 8, 1957 he was a son of the late Wilbur E. And Celia V. Dame. He was raised in Eliot and graduated from Marshwood High School.
Allan owned and operated A & B Auto Craft in Eliot for many years prior to making his home and continuing auto body repair first in Poland then Lebanon. He moved to Lebanon with his loving wife Darlene (Blais) Dame and together they enjoyed Sunday dates, cruising on their motorcycles enjoying many restaurants throughout Maine and New Hampshire and watching the NASCAR races.
Allan was an avid racer, competing at New England Dragway, Maple Grove raceway in Pa., Lebanon Valley, NY, Napierville Dragway in Quebec, Miramichi Speedway in New Brunswick and several others. He won many titles including a National Record in 2003 at Maple Grove, All Star Winner 1999 in Lebanon Valley, North American Nationals 1999 at NE Dragway, Best Appearing Super Stock 1999 and ProAm Tour winner 2010.
He enjoyed Ham Radio operating, trap shooting and with his loving wife by his side, completed many of his "Bucket List" items before his passing.
He is survived by his Wife Darlene Dame formerly Blais and their beloved dogs Jada and Jonah, son Benjamin Dame, daughter Natalie Campbell and her husband Alex, step children; Renee Tobey and husband Lawrence Tobey, Robyn Eisenhauer and fiancée Jarrod Black, grandchildren; Devon Tobey, Cameron Tobey, Triston Tobey, Madison Lamontagne, Haley "Haley Bear" Lamontagne and Paisley Black, siblings; Peggy Joslyn and husband Brad, Elroy Dame, and Ralph Dame, nieces; Shirley St. Pierre, her husband Ian St. Pierre and their daughter Isabella St. Pierre, Shauna Nickerson and her husband Chris, nephews; Dan Dame and Dana Dame and his mother in law Geneva Quatrano. He was predeceased by his mother Celia V. Dame, father, Wilbur E. Dame and brother Paul T. Dame.
