DOVER - Yvette R. Bosse, 98, died peacefully on Thursday, October 28th in her residence at Carriage Hill Assisted Living in Madbury. She was the beloved wife of Henri O. Bosse with whom she enjoyed 46 years of marriage until his passing in 1991.

She was born in Somersworth on January 16, 1923, the daughter of Alfred and Alice (Ouellette) Lavoie. She worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard during World War II and later became a manager of Servomation a food service company. Yvette had a very strong work ethic that she passed on to her children.

Yvette was a devout Catholic and a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Dover. She was devoted to praying the rosary every day. She loved to shop, play bingo, and was an active participant in the many social activities and trips sponsored by Cocheco Park where she made her home for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and took great pride in their successes. She will be deeply missed.

Yvette is survived by her loving daughters Linda Duchaine of Williamsburg, Va., and Estelle Roy of Dracut, Mass.; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters Jeannette Chevalier of Somersworth, Lucille (Robert) Richard of Dover, Simone Dupuis of Gonic; many nieces and nephews, and her dear friend Barbara.

She was predeceased by brothers Fernand, Girard, and Roger Lavoie as well as brothers-in-law Raoul Chevalier and Armand Dupuis.
