Woman passed out in car gets DUI, heroin charge

Felicia Orchard

ROCHESTER - A Rochester woman was arrested for driving under the influence and heroin possession Friday after police say they found her unconscious behind the wheel of her car downtown.

Felicia Orchard, 23, of 17 Norway Plains Road, Rochester, was arrested in the area of South Main and Portland streets after police responded to a call for someone passed out in their vehicle.

It was reported the vehicle's back-up lights were on and it then backed into another vehicle as the female lost consciousness.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel found Orchard passed out in the driver's seat of a silver 2005 Ford Explorer. She showed no signs of injury. EMS treated her on scene and she regained consciousness. There was no damage to either vehicle.

Orchard's bail was set at $2,500 cash or surety pending her arraignment on Monday.

A press release detailing the arrest did not disclose the exact time of the initial call, and no police authorized to reveal the information were immediately available this morning.
