Wing-itz Wing Butchery is a cool little eatery with a spicy vibe and tastes that pop.
We headed down there not knowing what to expect, but what we found was a cozy little atmosphere with excellent and attentive service.
We ordered 10 wings, five barbecue and five honey mustard; some sweet potato fries and a Caesar Salad.
Gluten free wings and boneless tenders are both available. In fact, much of the menu is gluten free, including the fries, which can be ordered with a variety of sauces.
The chicken wings were incredible, but the biggest hit were the sweet potato waffle fries, which we got with a chipotle mayo.
The fries were crisp and crunchy and bursting with flavor.
We went around 2 p.m., but next time we'll wait till 3, when their happy hour begins on weekdays.
Total cost was about $40 with tip.
Well worth it.
