Windham murder victim identified as New York man, 37

WINDHAM - The victim of a shooting last week in Windham has been identified as a New York man.
The body of Edward Johnson, 37, of Brooklyn, was found near the intersection of West Shore and Woodvue roads around 7 a.m. on Thursday.
An autopsy completed on Friday by Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jennie Duval found that Johnson's cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds to the head and that the manner of death was homicide.
An investigation into Johnson's death continues.
