Volunteers sought to help in Cocheco River cleanup

ROCHESTER - The Rochester Conservation Commission is organizing a River Cleanup mission to remove trash and debris from the Cocheco River.

The event is scheduled for April 6, with rain dates set for April 7, and April 13. Attendees should be prepared to get dirty, bring work gloves, and wear sturdy footwear.

The cleanup starts at 8 a.m. on Wilson Street, with a sign-in table located at 11 Wilson St. Participants are advised to contact ReneĢe McIsaac for event preregistration at Renee.mcisaac@rochesternh.gov or (603) 335-1338 (office) or (603) 781-7630 (cell).
