ROCHESTER - Vickie Lynn Decourcy, 55, of Reagan Drive died March 29, 2015 at home following a brave four year struggle with cancer.

Vickie was born September 18, 1959 in Waterbury, Conn. the daughter of Valmore and Betty (Jenkins) St. Lawrence. She graduated from Dover High School in Dover, N.H., class of 1977 and worked for Janco, Inc. in Dover.

Vickie was an avid race fan and met another avid fan, Eric Charles Decourcy, at one of the races. On June 29, 1997 they married. On October 10, 1999, their son Jeremy was born and Vickie devoted the rest of her career to being the best stay-at-home mom she could be. She and Eric were thrilled when at the age of two years; Jeremy announced that he wanted to be a professional race car driver. As Jeremy got older, his parents got him involved in the age appropriate sport of go-cart racing. Vickie was his greatest fan. She was able to watch Jeremy race and win the Racing Against Cancer 100 karting event this last January.

Vickie was predeceased by her mother, Betty St. Lawrence, in November of 2014.

Vickie is greatly missed by her husband, Eric Charles Decourcy; her son, Jeremy Russell Decourcy; and her father, Valmore Lionel St. Lawrence.
