SANFORD, Maine - Police have located the Sanford teenager reported missing earlier today. Sanford Police sent out an updated press release about a half hour ago saying that thanks to a tip from the public, the teenager had been located in Alfred.
State Police as well as the FBI had joined in the search for the missing 16-year-old girl who had been last seen by family and friends on Tuesday until she was located today.
Sanford and State Police as well as the FBI took the opportunity to thank the public for their assistance in the case.
