Two Dover transients nabbed on drug trafficking charges

DOVER - Two Dover transients have been arrested on drug charges after as part of an investigation by Operation Granite Shield.

Jeremiah Walker, 41, and Cristina Gatzimas, 37, both homeless, were charged with sale of a controlled drug, a felony.

The investigation was conducted jointly by the Dover Police Department and the Strafford County Sheriff's Office.

Walker was arrested at a Dover apartment complex on Friday. He was released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Strafford County Superior Court on July 5.

Gatzimas was also arrested Friday in the parking lot of a downtown business. She was also released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Strafford County Superior Court on July 5.
