ROCHESTER - Two Rochester teenagers have been nabbed for pot possession after a city Detective Unit stopped the pair on a routine traffic stop.
Rochester Police say the traffic stop occurred on Wednesday as the two teens turned their vehicle into the Lowes parking lot.
Haylee Dow, 18, of 18 Walnut St., and Ariana Boyle, 18, of 15 Hickey St., East Rochester, were charged with possession of a controlled/narcotic drug (marijuana) and will be arraigned Friday in Rochester District Court.
Bail was set for Dow at $2,500 personal recognizance and for Boyle at $1,500 personal recognizance.
Police said their vehicle had made an improper lane change prior to the stop.
According to a press release, the Detective unit was performing “a proactive patrol focusing on traffic stops and targeting high crime areas of the city.”
