Tonight's public hearing postponed due to printing snafu

ROCHESTER - A public hearing scheduled to run before tonight's City Council workshop has been postponed until next month due to it being improperly advertised in a Dover newspaper.

The Public Hearing was scheduled to get public input on proposed City Charter amendments to be placed on the November municipal ballot.

City Manager Blaine Cox said on Monday the postponement was necessary as the hearing notice, "was not properly printed in Fosters."

The public hearing has been rescheduled for July 6, Cox said.

A workshop that was also scheduled for tonight will still be held.
