ROCHESTER - The bridge on Green Hill Road will be temporarily closed for tree trimming beginning on March 20. The maintenance is expected to last around three days.

According to City Services Director Peter Nourse, the Town of Barrington plans to reconstruct the bridge in the spring.

"The bridge will be open until around May 1 at which point it will be closed until around Oct. 31," said Nourse. "A full detour package will be deployed for both events."

Nourse said the detour will channel traffic between Route 202 and Route 125 via Hansonville, Flagg, Gear and Estes roads. Residents should expect increased traffic on these roads during the reconstruction.
