CONCORD - Drive-up COVID-19 testing begins today in Rochester.
The tests, which are available only for individuals who have been referred for testing by a personal care physician, will be performed by a mobile unit at the National Guard Armory on Brock Street.
Similar mobile testing will be available in Claremont, Lancaster, Plymouth and Tamworth.
Meanwhile, state health officials announced 82 new positive test results, including three who had to be hospitalized.
The new cases bring the state cumulative cases to 2,010.
Of those with complete information, the new cases reside in Rockingham (23), Merrimack (13), Hillsborough County other than Manchester and Nashua (6), Cheshire (2), and Strafford (1) counties, and in the cities of Manchester (31) and Nashua (3).
As more and more are being tested the percentage of those hospitalized continues to move downward. As of Tuesday it stood at just 12 percent.
No new deaths have been reported since Saturday.
In Maine, where stay-at-home orders will be loosened on Friday, the confirmed case number rose to 1,040 but just 33 now hospitalized.
Businesses that will be allowed to open include barber shops, hair salons, drive-in, stay-in-your-vehicle religious services, auto dealerships and car washes.
