Suspect in Nashua killing to face arraignment today

NASHUA - A man suspected in the August death of a Nashua man will be facing arraignment today after his Thursday arrest by U.S. Marshals.

Ryan Barden, 30, is charged with second-degree murder for causing the death of Jared Daly, 35, by striking him in the head.

Nashua officers found Daly dead from multiple blunt force injuries on Aug. 11. It is believed that he was killed during the early morning hours of Aug 9.

Barden was tracked down by U.S. Marshals on Thursday at a residence on Stark Road in Belmont where he was located hiding inside a bedroom closet.

He will face the homicide charges in Hillsborough County Superior Court -- South.
