DOVER - While Dover's Tendercrop Farm won't be holding its annual Sunflower Festival this year due to COVID concerns, visitors are still welcome to come and walk their acres and acres of beautiful sunflowers.

Posts on social media have been touting the annual Sunflower Festival as starting this weekend, but a post on the Tendercrop Farm at the Red Barn Facebook page today alerted readers that it won't be held this year.

An employee reached at the store confirmed the news, but said folks are still welcome to come anytime between 9 a.m.to 7 p.m. to walk the sunflower field and cut and buy any plants they want to take home

Tendercrop Farm, on the site of the former Tuttle's farmstand, also has a large country store and fresh produce from their farm for sale.
