ROCHESTER - Police this morning said they had cleared the site of a SWAT team standoff at Amazon Park that stemmed from an alleged domestic violence incident that began on Thursday afternoon, but information regarding whether the man was arrested was still unclear.

A Rochester Police dispatcher noted around 6:30 a.m. today that all the residents had been able to return to their homes after being evacuated. Police first responded to the park around 3 p.m. and soon learned that a man had barricaded himself in a mobile home.

Both Whitehouse Road and Quail Drive were shut down during the standoff, while a large contingent of first responders including EMTs and police stood by at the ready.

Many residents of the campground were evacuated.

While a domestic assault was alleged and police have secured a warrant for the suspect's arrest there were no reports of injuries as of late late Thursday.

This story will be updated later today.
