DOVER - The Somersworth teen seriously injured on Wednesday when her vehicle veered off the Spaulding Turnpike and rolled over has been released from a Boston hospital.

Eighteen-year-old Madison A. Smith was driving a 2004 Honda CRV when she lost control and drove off the right side of the roadway, causing the SUV to roll over as she left the highway at Exit 9. She was ejected in the crash, according to State Police.

Smith was transported to Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover before being taken by Boston MedFlight to Brigham and Women's Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

A spokesperson for Brigham and Women's said on Monday that Smith had been discharged on Saturday.

While speed appears to be a factor, all aspects remain under investigation and anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Trooper N. Klimashov at Nikita.Klimashov@dos.nh.gov or 603-223-3828.
