ROCHESTER - Selden Amero, 67, of Rochester, died Nov. 22, 2022, at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, Mass., after a period of failing health. He was born in Charlestown, Mass., on Aug. 3, 1955, a son of the late Neiland and Mariann Amero.

In his earlier years he was employed at area restaurants and more recently worked at the Epping Market Basket until his retirement in 2020. He was an avid Boston Celtics and Red Sox fan, and really enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.

He leaves his sister Geraldine Cramer and her husband John of Wells, Maine, his brother Fred Amero and his wife Terri of Danvers, Mass., his longtime caregiver Holly Rousseau and husband Larry of Rochester, nephews Taylor and Patrick, his Aunt Jane and many cousins.
