DOVER - For the second time this month an inmate held at the Strafford County House of Correction has died in his sleep.

Paul Raymond, 50, of Dover, was brought in by Dover Police for protective custody and being held there overnight Sunday. He was found unresponsive in his cell at 3 a.m. on Monday.

EMTs responded and found that Raymond had passed during sleep, according to a news release sent out from the Strafford County Sheriff's Office.
Raymond's death has been classified as "untimely" but not suspicious.

On Aug. 13, a federal inmate who was alone in his cell was found unresponsive around 5:30 a.m., according to a press release sent out two days later.

The man was a U.S. Marshal's inmate. His age and hometown were not released.
