School district asks parents not to ask for extra stops during cold weather
Staff reports 8:20 a.m.
ROCHESTER - The Rochester School District put out an advisory today urging parents to make sure their children are waiting outside at the bus stop prior to the bus' scheduled arrival time, especially in severe winter weather. Here are some other reminders provided by the district:
While we understand the temptation on cold mornings, please do not flag down buses or ask drivers to make extra stops. Sticking to assigned stops helps keep all students safe and ensures buses stay on schedule for everyone. If you have questions about transportation, please contact the Bus Transportation Manager at 603-509-2904 or visit our district webpage at: https://www.rochesterschools.com/page/bus-schedules
