Santiago "Jim" M. Miranda ... retired from NHDOT | Santiago "Jim" M. Miranda

ROCHESTER - Santiago "Jim" M. Miranda, 71, is now at peace after a valiant battle with prolonged illnesses. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Santiago was born to the late Santiago and Mercedes Miranda of Tucson, Ariz., on May 21, 1947. He proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam War; retired as a Senior Chief after 25 years. He later worked for NHDOT and retired after 20 years as a Supervisor. He was very proud of his Mexican and his Apache heritage.
Santiago was blessed with a large and loving family. He was an incredible husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
His family was his life and he devoted everything he had to them. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.
Santiago is survived by his wife, Sandra; his sons Orrison W. Carr III and his wife Maureen and Scott Carr and his wife Vickie; his daughters Paula Carr and Michele Houle and her husband Michael; his grandchildren Orry "Bubba" and his wife Sary, Michele and her husband Eric, Travis and his wife Brandy, Seton and her husband Rob, Kaylan, Kelli, Jennifer and her husband Chad, Mary and her husband Joe, Patrick, and Zachary; his great-grandchildren Sandra, Addie, Bailey, Benjamin, Evangelina, Tara, Ava, Carter, Orrison, Meric, Lilian, Cedric, and Charlie; his brother Larry and FreddiAnn and his many nieces and nephews in Tucson.
