ROCHESTER - The Rochester Pubic Library will this month host a pair of Reiki facilitators who will share the healing attributes of the gentle, noninvasive healing modality.
Anyone who has been curious about Reiki can hear from facilitators Marilynn Carter and Liz Haven, who invite eventgoers to come and experience it. The pair also welcomes new and experienced Reiki practitioners of all levels to join them in giving and receiving.
Facilitators agree that as attendees become part of the "healing circle," the love and energies of Reiki will be flowing throughout the room for the highest good. The circle ends with reflections and a song.
The event will be held on Jan. 20 from 11 a.m. to noon in the Community Room at the Rochester Public Library, 65 South Main Street.
