YORK, Maine - A Rochester man could be looking at some serious jail time after being indicted on several charges in connection with an alleged DUI crash in Berwick in March.

Christopher E. Stockman, of 25 Lincoln St., is alleged to have driven his car into a utility pole in Berwick around 10:45 p.m. on March 31.

Stockman was charged with two counts of driving under the influence (two priors), two counts of operating after suspension and leaving the scene of property damage.

He could face up to six to nine months in jail if convicted of his third DUI.

The York County grand jury indictments were handed down on July 6 and released today.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been gathered to warrant a trial.
