DOVER - A Rochester man was killed early Monday morning in a fiery crash into a concrete barrier at the northbound tolls of the Spaulding Turnpike.

Justyn Tyndaal, 39, was declared dead upon arrival at Portsmouth Regional Hospital not long after his Chevrolet Equinox crashed into a concrete barrier next to the northbound E-Z pass lane of the Spaulding turnpike around 2:10 a.m., State Police said.

The vehicle came to rest in the travel lane of the toll plaza where it engulfed in flames.

State Police Lt. John Hennessey said a DOT worker helped to pull Tyndaal from his vehicle and arriving State Troopers performed CPR before he was transported to the hospital.
