The Rochester Common bandstand (Picture circa uncertain)
Earlier this week, the Rochester NH History podcast released a video highlighting one of Rochester's most beloved structures, the Bandstand at the Rochester Common.
Originally built in 1914, the Bandstand remains an iconic piece of Rochester's rich history.
Evoking memories from a time gone by, when bands entertained large crowds at the Common, the Bandstand has seen hurricanes, structural upgrades, and multiple uses throughout the years.
In 2001, it was added to the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places.
