ROCHESTER - The Fire Department's annual toy drive is now under way with drop-offs taken at either of the department's two fire stations, or the Rochester Chamber of Commerce on South Main Street.

Toys should be new and unwrapped, with an extra need for toys for older children. Gift cards are welcome.

A toy fund-raiser is set for Dec. 10 at the Rochester American Legion, which will benefit both the toy drive and Gerry's Food Pantry.

Doors will open at 7 p.m., with a live band from 9 p.m. to midnight featuring the band Groove Alliance. The event is for adults 21 and over. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the fire department.
