DOVER, N.H. - The three teenagers who allegedly killed a Madbury teenager this summer were on a mission to steal drugs and money when they stabbed him to death at his home, according to a murder indictment made public today.

The indictment of Tristan Wolusky in the death of Madbury teen Aaron Wilkinson reads, "Wolusky, acting in concert and aided by Zachary (D.J.) Pinette and/or Michael Tatum, did knowingly cause the death of Aaron Wilkinson, before, after, or while engaged in the commission of a robbery while armed with a deadly weapon, a knife, the death being caused by the use of such weapon."

Pinette, 19, of Spingvale, and Tatum, 21, of Barrington were not on the Strafford County grand jury indictment list for December.

Wolusky, 18, of Rochester, physically the biggest of the three alleged attackers, was indicted on four charges: first degree murder, second degree murder, conspiracy to commit robbery and falsifying physical evidence for allegedly moving and dumping the body on Long Swamp Road in Lebanon.

The suspects are accused of killing Wilkinson sometime around 1:30 a.m. on June 21 on the property of his 36 Evans Road home where he lived with his father.

The indictments indicate for the first time the possible motive in the Madbury teen's brutal murder.

They say that Wolusky and/or Pinette and/or Tatum discussed stealing money and/or drugs from Wilkinson and discussed wearing masks to commit the theft. It also alleges Wolusky and Pinette exchanged text messages about bringing guns with them to commit the theft.

It says that on the night of Wilkinson's death, the three decided to go to Wilkinson's home on Evans Road in Pinette's car instead of Wolusky's so that Wilkinson would not recognize the vehicle. The indictments allege that Pinette brought superglue so that he and the others could hide their fingerprints. The trio are also said to have removed their footwear to not leave shoeprints.

The indictment alleges Wolusky then called Wilkinson's cell phone to lure him out of his house and that Pinette and Tatum hid themselves when Wilkinson came outside.

Court documents say Wolusky acted like he didn't know Pinette and Tatum when Wilkinson saw the pair in the driveway, but that the trio then pounced on Wilkinson to prevent him from escaping and put him "in immediate use of physical force" while they tried to commit the theft.

In the first-degree murder indictment it states that Wolusky "did knowingly cause the death of Aaron Wilkinson, before, after, or while engaged in the commission of a robbery while armed with a deadly weapon, a knife, the death being caused by the use of such weapon."

In the second-degree murder charge it is alleged Wolusky "recklessly" caused Wilkinson's death "by stabbing Aaron Wilkinson with a knife, and/or restraining Aaron Wilkinson while Zachary Pinette and/or Michael Tatum stabbed Aaron Wilkinson."

Wolusky faces up to life in prison if convicted of second-degree murder and a mandatory life sentence without parole if he is convicted of first-degree murder.

Wolusky's case was the last to be bound over to Superior Court in late July. Court documents show that Pinette's indictment was expected this month and Wolusky's was not expected till January at the earliest.

The December indictments were handed down Thursday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
