Former Hampton resident Amanda McCarthy is an award winning Nashville-based singer/songwriter who is on a road trip back to her native New Hampshire.
Her amazing talent won her the New England Music Awards Songwriter of the Year award in 2019. Last year she was a finalist in both the Great American Song and in the SongDoor competitions. And recently she was nominated for three more awards out of Nashville.
"Amanda is a storyteller compelled to speak the truth. She doesn't fit in the box and she doesn't like rules," according to her Facebook page bio. "Blending many influences, her music is the infusion of Nashville pop and alternative rock sprinkled with a bit of millennial snark and the heart of an old soul."
Come see this New Hampshire native in a special performance at the Stone Church in Newmarket before she heads back to Nashville.
