Richard S. Ball Sr. died on Jan. 8, 2022, surrounded by family.

He was born May 23,1949, to the late Elston Ball and late Eleanor Ellery in Amesbury Mass.

He enjoyed being with his Grandchildren, boy did Evelyn make him laugh, Mia who always helped him to and from his bed and making sure he was safe on his feet, Amanda who would stay up many nights just talking to him and keeping him company and cooking for him. Kaitlin, who helped with the nightly duties with Grampa.

He was an Earnhardt Fan, loved NASCAR, he loved riding his electric chair downtown just to buy slim Jim's. He will be missed by his cats Dusty and Rusty. And Jethro the shepherd he loved to feed.

He is survived by his children Richard Jr, Ronald, Randy, Rodney and their spouses, daughters Amanda Burpee, Jennifer Vershon, Jessica Gautreau and their spouses, Sisters Caroline and Manetta, Brothers Eddie and Billy, many grandchildren, Anthony Dylan,David,Daniel,Kelly,Amanda,Mia,Evelyn and Kaitlin , Elliott and Coby, Ricky Nathan Brianna, Rebecca, Victoria, Jeremy, Timothy, Kelsey, Stacie, Alicia, Tyler, Olivia, Isaiah, Edward, Elyanna, many great grandchildren, aunts uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by brothers Timmy and Ernie, Son Shawn, great granddaughter Delilah, who he cherished. His lifelong friend Diane Campbell.
He will be greatly missed forever loved.
Go on dad I hope you get your ice up there.
