ROCHESTER - Wentworth-Douglass Hospital held a ribbon cutting for its newest primary care practice, which will be located at the Ridge Markeplace.
Primary Care of Rochester, under its new banner of Mass General Brigham Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, will begin accepting new patients on Monday.
The ribbon cutting included remarks from Rochester Mayor Paul Callaghan, who officially welcomed the practice to the Lilac City.

The practice will be anchored by two nurse practitioners, and will provide wraparound services for those who need attention with diabetes, behavioral health issues and other concerns.
The offices at Primary Care of Rochester comprise a handful of examination rooms, a room for staff professionals to do paperwork, break room and administrative space.
A sumptuous hors d'oeuvre buffet and Business After Hours was hosted by Primary Care of Rochester in the Smuttynose Beer Garden immediately following the ribbon cutting. During the mixer, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce Chairman of the Board Janet Oliver, of Unitil, also welcomed Rochester's newest health provider.
