Repeat shoplifter faces 7 years if convicted again

DOVER, N.H. - A Rochester woman is facing up to seven years in state prison after her indictment on a felony shoplifting charge.

Tammy Gould, 44, with a last known address of 105 Whitehouse Road, Apt. #40, was formally charged with willful concealment in connection with a March 26 incident at the Rochester Walmart.

Shoplifting is normally a misdemeanor, but Gould has already been convicted twice for similar crimes.

The Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down on Aug. 20 and released this week.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
