Police seek help finding suspect who brandished knife during theft of game console

SOMERSWORTH - Somersworth Police are on the lookout today for a man who stole a game cnnsole from Target befor fleeing out the store's back door and threatening a plow driver who was clearing snow.

Police got involved Monday around 2:40 p.m. when they got a call for a criminal threatening incident at the store. Once there they learned that a plow operator cleaning up after the storm observed a male exit the rear doors of the store and confronted the male, who brandished a knife and fled into the woods, according to a statement sent by Somersworth Police on Monday.

Target employees later confirmed the same male took a hammer and smashed a glass case stealing a game console before fleeing the store.
The suspect is described as a white male who was wearing blue jeans and a grey hooded sweatshirt that
had navy blue sleeves. He was also wearing a blue surgical style facemask and a grey colored baseball style
hat. He also had a black backpack on his back and a black knife sheathed on his right hip.
The suspect fled into the woods behind Target.
Somersworth Police are looking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in this case.
