ROCHESTER - Rochester Police have identified a juvenile whom they believe was the originator of an online threat to a local school earlier this week.
Police became aware of the situation Tuesday evening.
"We learned of the threat through calls into dispatch as well as a social media post that was made," Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham said on Wednesday.
Pinkham said after police spoke to several individuals familiar with the minor they deemed the threat was not credible.
He added that since the suspect is a juvenile, no further information would be released about their involvement.
