EAST ROCHESTER - The search is on this afternoon for a man who robbed an East Rochester convenience store today.
Police say a lone suspect walked into the Highland Street Store located at 119 Highland St. around 8:50 a.m., demanded cash and then fled on foot.
A K-9 track was brought to the scene but the track failed.
The suspect is described as being about 5' 8'' with a dark complexion and dark eyes. He is estimated to be in his 20s and was last seen wearing gloves, white sneakers and a dark jacket with a hood and a hat.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Rochester Police.
