Police on lookout for man who robbed Title Cash

ROCHESTER – Rochester Police are searching today for a lone suspect in the robbery of the downtown Title Cash store on Friday.

The lone robber is said to have entered the store at 101 Wakefield St. around 6 p.m. and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described by police as being approximately 5-foot-8, with a thin build, tan skin and blue eyes. 

He was dressed in shorts and a gray hooded sweatshirt. He also wore a white piece of cloth that covered his face from the nose down and was last seen running toward Summer Street on the railroad tracks at the end of Orchard Street.

The suspect did not show a weapon, and there were no injuries sustained as a result of the incident.

The Rochester Police Department was assisted by their own K-9 team as well as a K-9 team from Portsmouth Police Department and a Trooper from the State Police.
