ROCHESTER - Police late Monday morning arrested a man suspected in the armed robbery of a downtown convenience store earlier in the day. Benjamin Shannon, 34, of 2 Jackson St., Apt. 3, was charged with robbery and obstructing government administration regarding the robbery, which occurred around 8 a.m. at George and Ed's convenience store.
