PDA ports chief indicted a day after his wife, a Supreme Court Justice

CONCORD - A Rockingham County Grand Jury has returned indictments against Geno Joseph Marconi of Stratham, a day after it was announced that his wife, a New Hampshire Supreme Court justice was indicted in an influence scheme.

Also indicted was Bradley Joseph Cook of Hampton.

Geno Marconi was indicted for two class B felonies: tampering with Witnesses and Informants and Falsifying Physical Evidence. He was also indicted on four class A misdemeanors: two counts of Driver Privacy Act Violations and two counts of Obstructing Government Administration.

Cook was indicted for the class B felony of Perjury and two counts of class A misdemeanor False Swearing

On Thursday the Attorney Generals Office announced that New Hampshire Supreme Court Associate Justice Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi had been indicted on two felonies and five misdemeanors relating to her attempts to interfere with a criminal investigation into her husband, Geno Marconi.

Justice Hertz Marconi stands charged with two class B felonies: one count of Attempt to Commit Improper Influence and one count of Criminal Solicitation of Improper Influence.

Geno Marconi is the Director of the Division of Ports and Harbors of the Pease Development Authority, a state agency, and has been on administrative leave since April.

Cook is the chairman of the Division of Ports and Harbors Advisory Council.

Class B felonies are punishable by up to 3.5-7 years in state prison and a fine of up to $4,000. Class A misdemeanors are punishable by up to 12 months in a house of corrections and a fine of up to $2,000.
