ROCHESTER - Cornerstone VNA announce recently that two team members received high honors at the Home Care, Hospice & Palliative Care Alliance of New Hampshire's 50th Anniversary Celebration, which was held on June 18 at The Barn at Bull Meadow in Concord.

During the Alliance's special event, Julie Reynolds, President/CEO of Cornerstone VNA, received the Home Care and Hospice Service Award. According to the Alliance, "This award showcases and celebrates true excellence and dedication to providing quality in-home health care. Recipients of the Service Award have been identified as individuals or groups who have made exceptional contributions to the home care and hospice community in New Hampshire and the Alliance."

"I am truly honored to receive this award and the recognition," Reynolds said. Healthcare is a complicated system, and without the opportunity to work together through the Alliance, change cannot happen. My job is very rewarding because I work with so many dedicated and caring individuals at Cornerstone VNA. It is gratifying to know that my commitment to excellence has a positive effect."

Another Cornerstone VNA team member was honored during the Alliance's anniversary celebration. Hydi Prentice, Personal Care Service Provider, received the Alliance's inaugural Personal Care Service Award. According to the Alliance, "Members know that personal care providers are hard-working, caring individuals who serve clients and their families every day and regard this service as more than just a job. They are here to make a difference. This award gives providers the opportunity to reward those individuals who have committed themselves to a career in caregiving."

Prentice was recognized for her commitment to providing top-notch care, ensuring her patients' personal needs are met while maintaining a clean and safe environment and offering emotional support with a cheerful outlook and attentive ear. It was shared that her dedication extends beyond physical care, as she strives to help her patients remain in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible.
