HAMPTON - Police are investigating a Hampton crash on Thursday that involved a rollover and collision with two other vehicles that left one driver injured.

The crash occurred around 4:20 p.m. on Route 101 eastbound and resulted in both lanes of the eastbound side of Route 101 being shut down for around 15 minutes until the right breakdown lane could be opened up for traffic to pass.

Preliminary investigation indicated that the first vehicle lost control and rolled over, striking a second vehicle that then had contact with a third. The operator of the vehicle that rolled over was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital for evaluation of minor injuries.

All aspects of the crash remain under investigation. Neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected as contributing factors, State Police said. Anyone who may have further information or dashcam video of this incident is asked to contact the investigating Trooper, Sergeant Christopher Cummings at Christopher.J.Cummings@dos.nh.gov.
