One dead, one in critical condition in early morning Nashua fire

NASHUA - One person died and another is in critical condition in a fire that swept through a home at 86 Langholm Drive in Nashua around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday. When Nashua firefighters arrived on scene, they found heavy fire coming through the roof of the Positive identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of their death, is pending an autopsy scheduled for later this week. The investigation into the origin and cause of the fire is active and ongoing by members of the State Fire Marshal's Office, Nashua Fire Department and the Nashua Police Department. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the NH State Fire Marshal's Office The State Fire Marshals Office reminds everyone of the importance of having working smoke alarms in their homes. In the event of an alarm activation or visible smoke or fire, residents should immediately exit their home and call 9-1-1.
