Obit: Jeffrey Robinson ... enjoyed motorcycling

ROCHESTER - Jeffrey Joseph Robinson, 55, of Rochester, passed peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by loved ones on Friday, Jan., 31, after enduring a long struggle with his health.

Jeff will always be remembered as a loving father, a caring friend, and a reliable, hard worker.

Born in Cheverly, Md., on Sept. 18, 1958, Jeff grew up on his father's dairy farm in Oneida, N.Y., graduating from Oneida High School, and attending Herkimer County Community College before moving to New Hampshire in 1979, where he began his 34-year-long career as an auto body collision specialist.

From 1983-1990, Jeff was married to Karen Eastman. From 1992-1998 Jeff was married to Karen Flynn, with whom he has three daughters: Octavia Flynn-Robinson, 22, of Seattle, Wash., Deidre Flynn-Robinson, 20, a Junior at Plymouth State University, and Katrina Flynn-Robinson, 17, a freshman at Soka University of America, Aliso Viejo, Calif.

Jeff will also be dearly missed by his five siblings and his mother: Cindy Rosplok of Raliegh, N.C., Larry Robinson of Williamsburg, Va., Greg Robinson of Cortland, N.Y., Michael Robinson of Thurmont, Md., Diane Noeller of Cedar Park, Texas, and Barbara Robinson of Cedar Park, Texas.

Adventurous and fun-loving, Jeff was a good-natured man with a rambunctious sense of humor and a knack for forming long-lasting friendships with everyone he met. Over the years, some of his favorite pastimes included dirt bike trail riding, riding his Harley, boating, and fishing.

Jeff was predeceased by his father, Larry Robinson, in 1979; and his grandson, Simon Xavier, in 2011.
