BERWICK - There are those that can light up a room, then there are the very few who can set hearts ablaze. Evie did both and topped it off with a round-off back-handspring plus a little booty shake for good measure! While most of you read this - it will be written in black and white, but know that in Evie's eyes - the font is pink and sparkly - glittered and vivacious, lively, loud, energized and feverishly bouncing off the page just like the little 6 year old girl it is describing.

Evie was many things to many people; a beautiful and independent extension of her mother, Patrice. A goofy, kind-hearted, helping hand to her father, Lenroy. A dance partner and loving adversary to her big brother Tyrone. A fireball of energy and joy to the community she was part, and above all, she is now a selfless hero to the lives she will have saved through her organ donations and an angel to all of those who could not help but love her.

Evie's impact lives on in the way you kiss the bridge of your wife's nose - just because. It lives on in the way you whisper 'I love you' to your child before bed. It lives on in the way you caress your grandmother's cheek - just to let her know you adore her. It lives on in the laughter you share over green boogers running from your nose, with a friend. Evie made loving effortless and easy, fun and spirited. That is her enduring legacy and we hope you honor her memory by giving a long and loving squeeze to those you hold near and dear.

The life of Evalise Marie McLean will be shared on Wednesday, February 12th. at 4 p.m. at the Red Barn at Outlook Farm, 310 Portland St., South Berwick, Maine 03908. All are welcomed - the memorial will be appropriate for all ages. Flowers can be sent to the address above or donations can be made in Evie's name to the wonderful team at Boston Children's Hospital ICU. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/fosters/obituary.aspx?n=evalise-m-mclean&pid=169626573&fhid=4127#sthash.SiqUFi5C.dpuf
