ROCHESTER - Norman P. Theriault, 88, died Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a period of failing health.

Norman was born in Van Buren, Maine on September 12, 1926, the son of Fred and Angie (Madore) Theriault and had lived in Rochester since 1950, moving from Van Buren. He was a member of the Rochester Lodge of Elks, a former volunteer with the SHARE Fund and a former volunteer with the Graniteers in Rochester. After his retirement he worked as a groundskeeper at Roger Allen Ball Field in Rochester.

Surviving member of the family include: his wife of 65 years, Isabelle Theriault of Rochester, N.H., one son, Michel Theriault and his wife Denise of Cocoa Beach, Florida, one daughter, Sharon Williams and her friend Michael Crawford of Kittery, Maine, one brother, Donald Theriault of New Jersey, two sisters, Jeannine Parent of Chicago, Illinois, and Leola Theriault of New Jersey, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
