New Hampshire Farm Museum releases 2019 schedule

MILTON - Favorites like Sheepdog Day and Truck, Tractor and Wagon Day will make returning visits to the New Hampshire Farm Museum this year as well as new offerings like Farm Women, Farm Work in April and an October Haunted Barn and Wagon Ride for Halloween aficionados. The Milton landmark and popular visitors' spot released its 2019 Calendar of Events on Friday. Kicking off this year's itinerary is Maplefest set for March 30. Other longtime staples like summertime Farmer's Markets will be back on the fourth Saturday from May through September, while Workshops will come every second Saturday and Demonstrations every third Saturday. Also new will be Saturday Hearth Dinners scheduled every Saturday in July and August. While the majority of events are set, the museum is still looking to fill a few remaining workshop slots. If anyone is interested in doing a farming workshop at the museum, they are urged to call 603.652 -7840.
