ROCHESTER - A Nashua man is facing nearly a dozen charges and up to a year in county jail after he got into a confrontation with Rochester Police Sunday at the So'Field Apartments on Rochester Hill Road.
Police got involved a little before 7 p.m. when they got a report of a hit and run crash in which a parked vehicle was struck.
"Officers located Shane Johnson during their investigation and determined he was the driver of the involved vehicle," Rochester Police Lt. Elizabeth Turner said on Friday.
Johnson, 39, of Nashua, was charged with conduct after an accident, DUI, two counts of open container, three counts of resisting arrest, three counts of criminal mischief, and simple assault, which is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail.
Turner noted that the simple assault charge was for an alleged attack on an officer.
