Mother-daughter duo arrested in Kohl's shoplifting

ROCHESTER - A Newmarket, N.H., mother and daughter were arrested on Saturday in a shoplifting incident at the Rochester Kohl’s. Melissa Kane, 27, and Robin Kane, 50, both of 29 Beech St. #2, are alleged to have entered Kohl’s together and committed the crime of willful concealment together. Their bail was set at $1,500 personal recognizance, and they are scheduled to appear for arraignment later this month at the 7th Circuit – Rochester District Court. A person who has been convicted twice of shoplifting in a 36-month period can be charged with a Class B felony.
