Milton man hit with more child sex indictments

Bryan Brown

DOVER, N.H. - A Milton man has been indicted on two more counts of felonious sexual assault in addition to the four he was indicted on in November, all against the same victim.

Bryan Brown, 27, of 32 Brown Road, now stands charged with the six counts in connection with various sexual acts against the victim, who at the time of the April incidents was 15 years old.

All counts are Class B felonies. The four indictments in November were for incidents on April 3. The two brought forward earlier this month were allegedly committed on April 4.

Each of the six counts is punishable by three and a half to seven years in state prison and a $4,000 fine.

The teenage victim was not a family member, Milton Police Chief Richard Krauss said after the arrest, and not from town.

Brown is currently free on $5,000 cash bail.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.

A Strafford County grand jury handed down the most recent indictments on March 19. They were released today.
